I organised for a load of pupils and staff at school to take part in Sport Relief this morning in Glasgow. 58 of us ran a total of 190 miles between us. We had hoped to raise about £2000, but ended up raising £4072.21! Some of the pupils ran really great races- 4 of them finished 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th in the 3 mile event! Amazing!
Just had a message read out on the BBC2 programme about it and I also appeared on tv beside Fred MacAulay- so exciting!
ANYWAY- the real reason for the post, is the cards I’ve made this afternoon to thank the other members of staff who took part and to a friend who came and took a load of photos for us! There are 4 of the female runner, 4 of the male runner and one camera one. Each of the runners is personalised with the initials of the teacher on them!
